Mushrooms are among the most underrepresented food items in our local supermarkets. A mere one or two varieties are readily available to the general public through most retailers. This course will give you the skills you need to cultivate your own edible Oyster and Shiitake mushrooms instead of paying premium prices for them at specialty stores. Each participant will make their own mushroom log that they get to take home with them at the end of the course.
This class is hosted in an entirely outdoor setting.
